What DisguisMe Is

DisguisMe is a privacy service that creates disposable personas with temporary email addresses. We help you protect your real identity when signing up for websites, services, or testing accounts.

Important: Our personas are fictional identities for privacy protection, not for illegal activities or fraud.

Acceptable Use

You may use DisguisMe for:

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use DisguisMe for:

❌Creating accounts for harassment

❌Money laundering or financial crimes
❌Creating fake reviews or testimonials
❌Any illegal activities
❌Violating other services' terms

Violation consequences: Immediate account termination and deletion of all associated data.

Service Limitations

Important Disclaimers

• Disposable nature: Personas are temporary and not intended for long-term use
• Email delivery: We cannot guarantee 100% email delivery or uptime
• Browser extension: Offered "as-is\" with no delivery guarantees
• Third-party compatibility: Some services may detect or block disposable emails
• Critical accounts: Never use for banking, healthcare, or other critical services

Pricing & Refunds

Free Plan

• $0/month - no charges
• 1 persona with basic features
• 7-day email retention
• No email forwarding

Pro Subscription

• $2/month or $24/year
• Cancel anytime
• Service stops at end of billing cycle
• No partial refunds for unused time

Account Management

Account Termination

We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time.

When we terminate:

• All personas are immediately deleted
• Email forwarding stops
• No refunds for unused services
• Account data is permanently removed

When you delete:

• 30-day grace period for reactivation
• All data deleted after grace period
• Active subscriptions are canceled
• Unused personas are forfeited

Liability & Warranties

DisguisMe is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Missed emails or service interruptions
• Actions taken by third-party services
• Consequences of using personas inappropriately
• Data loss due to service termination
• Any indirect or consequential damages

Maximum liability: Limited to the amount you paid for DisguisMe services in the past 12 months.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do:

• We'll email all users about significant changes
• Post a notice on our website for 30 days
• Update the "Last updated" date
• Continued use means you accept the new terms

Don't agree with changes? You can delete your account before they take effect.

Governing Law
